Major Features / Specifications :

The FT-8800E in the same style as the FT-8900 Quad band mobile, operates as two radios in one, with either 144MHz or 430MHz as the main TX/RX band with simultaneous monitoring of the other band. Separate volume and squelch controls are provided for each band (VHF/UHF). As well as the two main amateur VHF and UHF bands the FT-8800 provides wideband receiver coverage from 108 to 520MHz and 700 to 999MHz. More than enough to monitor the frequencies.

It has a easy-to-read illuminated LCD, which affords easy viewing from a wide variety of viewing angles and features Yaesu’s renowned Omni-GlowTM display illumination, with four illumination levels available.

The FT-8800 features one-touch band-pattern 'Hyper Memory' feature which saves valuable time when operating. The Hyper Memory allows you to store a complete set of configuration data for the two bands, very hand when operating mobile.

The control head can be remotely mounted, with the optional YSK-8900 separation kit. The YSK-8900 kit includes a remote cable and mounting bracket.
